Divine Revelation

God told us many things about Himself, about heaven,, and about the angels. He told us about the Blessed Trinity. God sent the patriarchs and the prophets to tell us many things. Then our Lord Himself came. He told us more than all the others. Then our Lord sent the Apostles to tell us many more things. God wrote the Bible. The Catholic Church teaches us all these things. God did all this for us because He loves us.

You told me last time, children, many wonderful things about God. How much can God do ? What are some of the things that God has done? What does God do for you every day? How much does God know ? What does He know about what happened long ago? What does He know about what is going to happen? How long has God been just as He is now ? How long will God be just as He is now ?

Why do we say that God is all-just? What will God reward ? What will God punish ? When is God willing to forgive sinners ? Why do we say that God is all-merciful ? Why do you always forgive those who are unkind to you? Why do you pray for bad people ? Where do we all gather together to pray to God? Why are we all like brothers and sisters?

Who sent the Catholic Church to teach us ? Who ordained the Apostles priests? Who was the first Pope?

You know you can read about St. Peter and the other Apostles in the Bible. The Gospel tells what our Lord said to St. Peter when He made him head of the Church. What do you do if you are sitting down and a man or woman has no seat? What does that show? Why do you love all the people in the world? Why do you say “yes, ma’am” to a woman? Why do you respect all women? What woman do you love best on earth? Who gave you your mother? What woman do you honor more than any other woman in the world?
